I work in the Java SE Core Technologies group at Sun Microsystems in California, where I am responsible for the Java Language Specification and the Java VM Specification. I have a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London. Earlier, I worked in New Jersey in corporate R&D and technical sales.
